On October 9, 2002, Doug Howard, a member
of Rogue Valley Model Railroad, departed for a short visit to Switzerland.
In fact, Doug was invited to the regular meeting of Freiamter
Eisenbahn Amateur Club; Wohlen, Switzerland, which was Thursday, October
17th. At that time, on behalf of RVMRRC, Doug presented a couple
of HO models to the club. A Genesis series Athearn SD40-2 engine painted
in the new Pacific & Eastern centennial paint scheme (Green, Gray,
and Yellow) and a Double Door Boxcar also lettered for P & E.
