| Co-Chairman’s
Message The annual Rogue Valley Train Show is upon us, to which I have only one thought—HAVE FUN! To help you remember your work commitments, we have posted the work assignments in this issue of the Passing Track. New layout construction has slowed tremendously in the last several months, and with good reason. Many of us are in jobs that are quite demanding this time of year. Three of our members are on the steering committee for the Annual Train Show. As you will note in our December calendar of events, the list is rather short. Take time to enjoy the holidays, and don’t forget our holiday party. When the normal routines set in after the holidays, we will once again charge ahead with the new layout. I am pleased to say that a number of new members have commented that one of the reasons for joining the Club is its commitment to excellence. A number of visitors have commented on the craftsmanship of the new construction, from carpentry to track laying. As vice-chairman, I will take on more of the leadership responsibilities of the Club, as Stan will undergo an operation next week that will limit his participation in Club activities for a bit. Let’s keep Stan in our thoughts and prayers. --E.Don |
